foodNow, an all-volunteer gala provides a creative approach to raising awareness and funding for local, healthier eating in Greater Kansas City. Local farmers and local chefs come together to bring a unique local food experience to the West Bottoms, home of the roots of agriculture in the Midwest.
On The Bridge
Mingle in the midst of the high stone arches of the 12th Street Bridge as you share in local libations, small bites and a silent auction brimming full of food and wine. As sunset approaches, you will be ushered to find a seat at the table.
Under The Bridge
One amazing row crop table will fill the original cobblestone street where farmers traveled to bring their bounty in centuries past. There you will be served a three course dinner by the finest local chefs created from today's local bounty.

Proceeds from the gala go to 501(c)(3) not-for-profits working for local, healthier eating. This year's beneficiaries are Kansas City Beans&Greens Program, Greater Kansas City Food Policy Coalition, and Get Growing KC (a collaborative project of the Kansas City Community Gardens and Cultivate Kansas City)
